Presenter: Cameron Lucas Eggers
Cameron Lucas Eggers is a multi-disciplinary performer and creative whose work is rooted in the expressive power of movement and language. With a double degree from California State University, Sacramento in American Sign Language and Dance Theory and Criticism, Cameron brings a unique, scholarly depth to his work in both professional and community theatre. His recent acting credits include James Leeds in Children of a Lesser God with Order Chaos Theatre Company and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee at TheaterWorks.
Beyond the stage, he serves as the Creative Director and CEO of The ASL Impact Program, where he leverages his 15 years of experience as a professional interpreter to create inclusive, artistic spaces. Through this initiative, Cameron has continued his endeavors to mentor emerging interpreters and cultivated a vital partnership with the Arizona Commission for the Deaf and the Hard of Hearing and their Launchpad Apprentice/Mentorship Program, further bridging the gap between the Deaf community and the performing arts. For Cameron, theater and music are more than storytelling—they are ways of building a thriving, supportive community for ASL users and artists alike.
